• Step 1. – Our technicians first attach a high powered vacuum to the main trunk line leading to your furnace.
• Step 2. – Next, they go to each branch line and use a tool called an air-wand. The air-wand uses highly compressed air to push all the debris down to the main trunk-lines where the vacuum hose is creating negative-pressure to draw all debris to our van mounted equipment.
• Step 3. – Once they have completed the initial air sweep, an item called a Rotary-Brush with a reverse nozzle will be used. It will be inserted into the trunk line where the brush will rotate inside the air ducts. This rotating brush “scrubs” the walls clean, removing anything that is stuck on, or otherwise attached to the walls of the air ducts. This creates a tornado effect in the duct work, removing all residue from the sides of the air ducts. This will pull any remaining dust and debris back to the vacuum. The vacuum is “pulling” while the air-wand is “pushing” and it does a very effective job on light dust, dirt and debris.
